The secret to a great gift for friends or family abroad is to choose something authentic, light and easy to pack. Smart tips for posting overseas
- Go light and flat: magnets, pins, socks, tea towels and foldable bags cost the least to post
- Combine items: one parcel with several gifts is usually cheaper than several parcels
- Allow plenty of time: international parcels can take 10 to 20 business days to Europe, the UK and North America

A note on overseas postage right now
International shipping has become more complicated and more expensive. Changing trade rules and tariffs, especially for parcels going to the United States, can add import duties, extra fees and delays. Postage to some other countries has also gone up. That means posting to some destinations may not be economical at the moment, particularly for smaller orders.
We don't offer overseas shipping at checkout. Instead, email us first and we'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense for your parcel.
How to ask about an overseas order
- Choose your gifts on our website
- Email sales@megabes.com.au with your name, delivery country and address, and the items you'd like
- We'll check the cost with Australia Post and let you know whether we can send it and what it will cost
- If it works for you, we'll send a secure payment link, then pack and post your parcel
Any import duties or taxes are set by the destination country and are paid by the recipient.
Sending within Australia? Even easier
Australian orders check out online as normal, with free standard shipping on orders over $150. And if you're in Perth, come and choose in person at WA's leading one-stop souvenir shop in Malaga. We're a family-owned business with over 30 years in the souvenir trade.
